Based in Denver, Colorado, Flatirons is a subsidiary of Crosstimbers Capital Group (“Crosstimbers”). As a Registered Investment Advisor, Crosstimbers manages private equity and venture capital funds and invests on behalf of high net worth individuals and family offices. Crosstimbers was founded in 2016 by David Hollon and Trevor Brock as a way to include others in the investment strategy they were previously executing on behalf of Brock Capital Group, a Houston-based family office. David and Trevor have been close friends for over eighteen years and have worked together for ten years managing investments.
The Crosstimbers team has developed deep expertise working within portfolio companies to stabilize and strengthen them as they scale. They have helped raise more than three billion dollars to support the growth of those businesses, two of which are now public. The principals of Crosstimbers also led the initial investment in Red Dot Storage, a company they continue to help manage today.
